Corporate Engagement Intern

About the Role

Arthrex, Inc., a global medical device company and leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics, is seeking an intern to join the Corporate Communications team at its global headquarters in Naples, FL. The intern will learn about various aspects of corporate communications with a focus on corporate engagement, including community, university, and employee engagement. This internship runs from January 2027 through April 2027, requiring at least 20 hours per week at the Naples facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating various community engagement efforts including campus tours, educational programs/seminars, and speaking engagements.
• Manage the Employee Event Ticket Distribution and Employee Years of Service Traveling Flag Programs.
• Support communications through promoting Corporate Engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Florida Gulf Coast University to support the planning of the Medical Device Industry courses.
• Assist with ad hoc events including Arthrex Educational Seminars and Employee Networking.
• Support various marketing projects and tasks, as needed, including team surveys and meeting coordination.

Qualifications

• Progress towards a college degree required, preferably in Communications or Public Relations.
• A college senior preferred. Recent graduates must be within six months of their graduation date to qualify.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.
• Excellent time management and project organization skills required.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal direction.
• PC proficiency; familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Familiarity with fax and scanner.
