Corporate Director of Engineering - Sensors (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of sensor products for U.S. and global markets.
• Develop electronic-based products incorporating embedded microcontrollers, sensors, and firmware.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams including electrical, firmware, mechanical, and systems engineering disciplines.
• If residing within a 100‑mile radius of Chicago or Milwaukee, no relocation is required but must be willing to report to the office three days per week.

Requirements

• Experience as a Director or Manager of Development Engineering for sensors.
• Diverse sensor application background in automotive, commercial vehicle, off‑road, industrial, or adjacent markets.
• Proven management of engineering groups both in the U.S. and globally.
• Strong understanding of business development for sensors and customer contact.

Pay

Annual salary range: $200,000 – $250,000 USD, with a target 30% bonus.

Schedule
