Description
The Corporate Director of the Central Leave Office & Accommodations provides systemwide leadership for Emory Healthcare's leave and workplace accommodation programs. This role is accountable for the strategic direction, administration, compliance, and continuous improvement of leave of absence and accommodation processes across the enterprise.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Expert oversight of FMLA and state leave programs, ADA and PWFA accommodations, return-to-work programs, and related leave benefits
- Monitoring regulatory changes, industry trends, and internal data to recommend program enhancements and ensure compliance
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including FMLA, ADA, PWFA, and state leave laws
- Establishing, revising, administering, and communicating leave and accommodation policies, procedures, workflows, and related documentation
- Monitoring legislative and regulatory changes and leading updates to policies, practices, and training
- Reviewing and evaluating leave-related benefit programs in partnership with the Corporate Director, Total Rewards
Governance & Compliance
- Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
- Establishes, revises, administers, and communicates leave and accommodation policies, procedures, workflows, and related documentation
- Makes recommendations for program enhancements based on regulatory changes and internal data
- Reviews and evaluates leave-related benefit programs in partnership with the Corporate Director, Total Rewards
People Leadership
- Leads leave advisors and nurse case managers
- Coaches, mentors, and develops staff and ensures service excellence
