Serve as a Lead on the Corporate Development team, supporting the deal lifecycle across strategy, valuation, financial modeling, and negotiation for joint ventures, minority investments, and mergers and acquisitions. Work closely with the company’s technology accelerator and corporate venture teams. Assist with evaluating the broader corporate financial and market strategy of Booz Allen across our sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage knowledge of corporate finance, accounting, and different business models such as services and software, to inform the development of dynamic financial statement modeling and financial metrics.
  • Assess strategic financial alternatives through merger consequences analyses, including accretion and dilution, leveraged buyout, discounted cash flow, sum-of-parts, public trading comparables, precedent transactions, and IRR or ROI returns modeling.
  • Execute M&A and other inorganic investment and transaction processes in coordination with senior corporate and market leaders.
  • Comprehend the defense or government ecosystem, major commercial technology trends and players, and the operational, legal, and financial structures of complex business collaborations.
  • Use dual-use technologies, cross-functional stakeholder engagement, and cross-sector negotiation.
  • Structure complex problems, deliver insights and recommendations, and identify key risks.
  • Work across teams to build operational P&Ls.
  • Scope and define strategy for various investment options.
  • Prioritize work streams appropriately and move among differing tasks quickly.

Requirements

  • Experience as part of corporate development, investment banking, or strategic partnerships or growth investing.
  • Experience with alternative business models such as equity investments, M&A, or joint ventures.
  • Knowledge of working with complex financial models for various deal structures.
  • Ability to work across teams to build operational P&Ls.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of work performed within this facility.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

Work Model

  • Remote: If this position is listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
