About The Role
In Corporate Development & Investor Relations, you will operate at the intersection of Applied Intuition's most strategic external activities - M&A, capital markets strategy, and investor engagement. You are a self-starter who can run complex processes end-to-end with minimal oversight, from sourcing and executing acquisitions to managing relationships with the world's most sophisticated institutional investors. You will report to the Head of Corporate Development & Investor Relations and work directly with Applied Intuition's CEO, CFO, and senior leadership to shape the company's capital strategy and drive transactions that accelerate our mission to build physical AI that moves the world.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute M&A processes from origination through close, including target identification, financial modeling, due diligence coordination, deal structuring, and negotiation support across domestic and cross-border transactions
- Build and maintain financial models for acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic investments, including scenario analysis, transfer pricing mechanics, and milestone-based equity structures
- Manage investor relations workflows, including maintaining the company's investor CRM, preparing executive briefing materials, and coordinating outreach to existing and prospective investors across sovereign wealth funds, crossover funds, long-only managers, and growth equity firms
- Draft and refine investor-facing materials, board presentations, and internal investment memos that distill complex strategic and financial information into clear, concise narratives
- Serve as a key point of contact for external advisors, including legal counsel, bankers, and consultants, ensuring processes stay on track and deliverables meet Applied Intuition's standards
- Support pre-IPO capital markets readiness, including cap table management, investor allocation strategy, and benchmarking against public and private market comparables
- Build and maintain internal tools, automations, and AI-assisted workflows to improve the efficiency and scalability of corporate development and IR operations
- Possibly partner cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Product, and Engineering leadership to evaluate strategic opportunities and support integration planning
- Contribute to ad-hoc strategic projects and analyses as needed to support the CEO, CFO, and broader corporate development and investor relations function
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, growth equity, venture capital, or corporate development and investor relations at a high-growth technology company
- Track record of running deal processes end-to-end, with direct experience in M&A execution, financial due diligence, and transaction structuring
- Strong financial modeling skills, including comfort with complex deal structures, JV economics, and multi-scenario analysis
- Experience in or meaningful exposure to investor relations, capital raises, or public/private capital markets strategy
- Demonstrated AI fluency - you have built internal tools, vibe-coded applications, or designed AI-assisted workflows, not just used off-the-shelf AI products
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce tight, executive-ready materials and operate comfortably alongside senior leadership and high-profile external stakeholders
- Strong project management instincts, with the ability to drive multiple complex work streams simultaneously in a fast-paced, low-structure environment
- Comfort operating across international deal contexts, including cross-border transactions and engagement with global investors
