Corporate Counsel (Remote)

Location: Remote – US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000 annually.

This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. Responsibilities

• Assist with transactional work across various business lines, including drafting and negotiating agreements.
• Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements with healthcare providers and life sciences companies.
• Handle a variety of agreements, including clinical projects, data licenses, and vendor contracts.
• Address legal issues involving AI, intellectual property, data privacy, and healthcare technology.
• Participate in general legal work including intellectual property, corporate governance, and regulatory matters.
• Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate legal risks and support business objectives.
• Adapt quickly to the fast-paced demands of the Legal Department.

Qualifications

• JD Degree.
• 4+ years of relevant healthcare transactional experience.
• Strong familiarity with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, Stark, etc.).
• Current bar membership in at least one state.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Impeccable legal judgment and risk evaluation skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong team player with a collaborative approach.
