Corporate Counsel, Labor & Employment

Key job responsibilities

• Serve as lead supervising counsel on complex employment litigation matters including class actions, PAGA claims, and high-exposure single-plaintiff cases
• Develop comprehensive litigation strategy and manage sophisticated case portfolios from complaint through resolution
• Absess, select, and supervise outside counsel on high-stakes employment litigation matters
• Provide litigation risk assessments and strategic recommendations to senior leadership

Basic Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
• 5+ years of post bar admission legal experience
• 5+ years of litigation experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Experience defending class/complex wage-hour litigation
• 5+ years of experience in employment litigation
• Law firm litigation background with experience handling employment matters
• Experience as first or second chair in employment litigation matters
