Responsibilities
- Support the VP with HR agency matters and general litigation processes
- Monitor and advise on changes in employment legislation and regulations
- Draft and revise employment-related policies and documents
- Manage internal audits and develop new policies as needed
- Create and deliver employee handbooks and management policies
- Identify and mitigate potential legal risks to prevent litigation
Qualifications
- Law degree from a major U.S. law school or foreign equivalent required
- Active license to practice law in New York, Illinois, California, Texas, or D.C.
- Minimum of 2 years in labor & employment law at a law firm or in-house
- Strong skills in analysis, writing, communication, and advocacy
- Experience with strategic initiatives balancing legal and business needs
- Knowledge of company policies and relevant legislation
