About the role

AWS is at the forefront of the cloud computing industry, providing IT infrastructure services such as on-demand compute capacity, storage, content delivery, database services, artificial intelligence and machine learning, agentic AI and more. This role supports the AWS Agentic AI organization, advising on legal issues, supporting product launches, and providing regulatory expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and mitigate legal risks
  • Advising on regulatory issues, including privacy
  • Oversee compliance, negotiate strategic technology agreements, and contribute to business strategy
  • Develop strategies for handling legal issues creatively and business-centrically
  • Build processes to address risk and enable innovation and scaling

Requirements

  • 5+ years of post-bar legal experience
  • Juris Doctor and active member of a state bar or equivalent
  • Experience in private practice or in-house at a tech company
  • Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $153,900.00 - $208,200.00 annually.
