About the role
This role is part of the Legal Department and supports the coordination and administration of the contract management process at the Company’s headquarters in Lenexa, Kansas. The Contract Analyst will ensure contracts are processed efficiently and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Review, revise, and negotiate construction contracts and other project-related documentation to identify and minimize company risk or liability.
- Identify, analyze, and summarize contract issues or key points to ensure compliance with company policy, laws, and regulations.
- Generate amendments to modify contract terms and conditions.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external customers to negotiate contract terms and conditions.
- Track and report the status of contract negotiations.
- Train internal employees on contract administration policies and procedures.
- Perform additional job duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience reviewing and revising contracts, preferably in a construction-related environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in contracts management, public administration, business administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the construction field.
- Local to the KC Metro area.
Pay
$69,000 - $92,000 annual base salary plus eligibility for the non-guaranteed annualized bonus program.
