About the role

The Corporate Compliance Program Specialist provides advanced administrative guidance and direction on the effective implementation of the Corporate Compliance Program. They assist with managing the day-to-day operations of the compliance program and help maintain a comprehensive process for an evidence-based compliance approach.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with managing the day-to-day operation of the compliance program
  • Helps maintain a comprehensive process for an evidence-based compliance approach
  • Reviews and evaluates compliance issues/concerns and ensures 100% compliance with the organization’s Corporate Compliance Program
  • Establishes and implements a risk-based audit and internal monitoring plan to detect and prevent fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA), and misconduct
  • Conducts independent investigations and audits related to Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, Military, and Provider-related business segments compliance
  • Serves as the organization’s key Corporate Compliance leader in the absence of the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer

Requirements

  • Associate's degree required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years in Healthcare required
  • 1+ year compliance/regulatory experience preferred
  • CHC - Certified Healthcare Compliance certification required within first 24 months
