About the role
The Corporate Compliance Program Specialist provides advanced administrative guidance and direction on the effective implementation of the Corporate Compliance Program. They assist with managing the day-to-day operations of the compliance program and help maintain a comprehensive process for an evidence-based compliance approach.
Responsibilities
- Assists with managing the day-to-day operation of the compliance program
- Helps maintain a comprehensive process for an evidence-based compliance approach
- Reviews and evaluates compliance issues/concerns and ensures 100% compliance with the organization’s Corporate Compliance Program
- Establishes and implements a risk-based audit and internal monitoring plan to detect and prevent fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA), and misconduct
- Conducts independent investigations and audits related to Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, Military, and Provider-related business segments compliance
- Serves as the organization’s key Corporate Compliance leader in the absence of the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer
Requirements
- Associate's degree required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years in Healthcare required
- 1+ year compliance/regulatory experience preferred
- CHC - Certified Healthcare Compliance certification required within first 24 months
