About the role
The Global Communications team at Salesforce is seeking a senior leader to own integrated media strategy, build and lead earned influencer programs, and advise executive leadership on high-stakes media interactions. This role sits at the intersection of media strategy, executive influence, and earned creator programs.
Responsibilities
- Own integrated media strategy across marquee moments - including product launches, major events, and earnings cycles
- Develop the "big stories" framework and editorial relationships that drive tier-one coverage and measurable business outcomes
- Build and lead earned influencer programs that cultivate authentic relationships with top B2B creators, podcasters, and next-gen media voices
- Architect the infrastructure to scale these programs globally
- Advise and prepare executive leadership for high-stakes media interactions, proactive risk mitigation, and complex, multi-stakeholder scenarios
- Turn difficult coverage into fair and favorable positioning
- Connect thought leadership programs to product go-to-market moments, driving category creation, media amplification, and pipeline - not just awareness
Requirements
- 15+ years of corporate communications experience at a top-tier technology company
- A track record of leading high-impact media and thought leadership programs
- Deep expertise in crisis communications and managing sensitive, high-stakes scenarios under tight deadlines
- Strong, established relationships with reporters at outlets like the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Bloomberg, Fortune, and CNBC, and with creators across next-gen media platforms
Qualifications
- Develop repeatable frameworks and playbooks that enable global teams to run always-on programs independently
- Curiosity about and comfort applying AI tools and emerging communications technology to your work
- Familiarity with B2B creator and podcast ecosystems and a point of view on where next-gen media is heading

The typical base salary range for this position is $164,000 - $261,500 annually.
