About the role

The Corporate Driver will transport Executives and family members to designated locations, driving them to and from events and destinations. This is a part-time, on-call position as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate excellent driving skills in a variety of luxury vehicles (sedans and SUVs).
  • Communicate effectively by phone, text, and email, especially with high-profile clients.
  • Apply knowledge of local traffic patterns, driving laws, safety regulations, and security protocols.
  • Navigate with or without GPS, avoiding traffic jams and road hazards.
  • Monitor weather conditions that may affect travel and provide proactive updates.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and occasional overnights.
  • Handle emergencies such as accidents, breakdowns, or medical issues.
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding business and personal information.
  • Drive to meetings, conferences, social events, or airports safely, timely, and professionally.
  • Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and compliant with state and federal laws.
  • Fulfill special requests, such as stocking the vehicle with food or beverages or waiting for appointments without a set end time.
  • Coordinate with executive assistants to confirm schedules and special travel needs.
  • Complete expense reports.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Five years of related experience highly preferred.
  • Open availability, 7 days per week, including days and evenings.

Skills

  • Ability to operate any vehicle safely.
  • Extensive knowledge of motor vehicle laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to map routes and estimate travel times using GPS or standard maps.
  • Extensive knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to diagnose mechanical problems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Strict adherence to confidentiality.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods driving a vehicle.
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds to assist with luggage as required.
