About the role
The Corporate Driver will transport executives and family members to designated locations, driving them to and from events and destinations. This is a part-time, on-call position with variable hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional overnights.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate excellent driving skills in a variety of luxury vehicles (sedans and SUVs).
- Communicate effectively with high-profile clients via phone, text, and email.
- Maintain strong knowledge of local traffic patterns, driving laws, safety regulations, and security protocols.
- Navigate with or without GPS, avoiding traffic jams and road hazards.
- Monitor weather conditions and provide proactive updates regarding trip impacts.
- Handle emergencies such as accidents, breakdowns, or medical issues.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding business and personal information.
- Drive to meetings, conferences, social events, or airports safely, timely, and professionally.
- Ensure vehicles are well-maintained, clean, and compliant with state and federal laws.
- Fulfill special requests, such as stocking the vehicle with food or beverages or waiting for appointments without a set end time.
- Coordinate with executive assistants to confirm schedules and special travel needs.
- Complete expense reports.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Five years of related experience highly preferred.
- Ability to operate any vehicle safely and extensive knowledge of motor vehicle laws.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Ability to map routes and estimate travel times using GPS or standard maps.
- Extensive knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to diagnose mechanical problems.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Must maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Open availability, 7 days per week, including days, evenings, and occasional overnights.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of driving a vehicle.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds to assist with luggage as required.
