Corporate Associate (M&A/PE Focus) (2+ yrs Exp)
We are seeking corporate associates to join a transactional practice focused on mergers and acquisitions and private equity work.
About the role
This role offers exposure to a wide range of deal types and the opportunity to work closely with sponsors, companies, and internal deal teams across all stages of transactions.
Responsibilities
- Support mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions from inception through closing
- Draft and negotiate primary and ancillary transaction documents
- Conduct due diligence and assist with transaction structuring and execution
- Cook up deal processes, including managing timelines and working with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with team members on complex corporate and transactional matters
- Aid in post-closing matters and ongoing client advisory work
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in corporate transactional work
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions and/or private equity transactions
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deals and work in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative and client-focused mindset
Requirements
- Prior experience at a nationally recognized law firm or comparable environment
- Strong academic credentials
- Demonstrated ability to handle transactional work and deal execution
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Admittance to a U.S. bar or eligibility for admission

Salary: $225,000 - $450,000 per year
