Mintz’s corporate practice offers a blend of comprehensive legal expertise and practical business counseling that enables our clients to clarify goals, find solutions and achieve results across varied business transactions. Our corporate attorneys advise clients on a wide variety of issues affecting commercial, financial and industrial enterprises, both publicly and privately owned.

We cover every aspect of the private equity market, including fundraising and investment fund formation, direct investments, portfolio company management and acquisitions, and platform exits. Our clients include global commingled funds, independent sponsors, and family offices.

Responsibilities

• Candidates must have experience with acquisitions, divestitures, mergers and joint ventures, private equity funds and financial institutions.
• Candidates must have the ability to provide efficient legal service both independently and as part of a team.
• Candidates must be willing to quickly integrate into our robust national corporate practice.
• Candidates must commit to providing the highest quality of client service in support of a broad range of complex transactions.
• Candidates must be dedicated to professional development consistent with this on-track partnership position.
• Strong academic credentials, excellent critical reasoning skills and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts are required.
• Candidates must have 3+ years of M&A and private equity transactional experience.
• Candidates must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Candidates must demonstrate professionalism in working and engaging with clients and colleagues.
• Candidates must be able to prioritize, meet deadlines and balance competing responsibilities.
• Candidates must be able to stay organized and exercise extreme attention to detail.
• Candidates must be able to collaborate and work effectively in team settings.

Qualifications

• Graduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Must be admitted or eligible for admission in New York.
• Must have 3+ years of M&A and private equity transactional experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Professionalism in working and engaging with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and balance competing responsibilities.
• Ability to stay organized and exercise extreme attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings.

Pay

The salary for this position is $260,000. This position is bonus eligible.
