Corporate Associate – Los Angeles

About the role

A top-tier corporate law team is seeking a mid-level Corporate Associate (4–6 years PQE) to join its Los Angeles office. This role offers hands-on exposure to M&A, private equity, and corporate finance transactions, with the opportunity to work directly with clients and lead deal teams of associates and paralegals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support M&A and corporate finance transactions, including drafting and negotiating agreements.
• Manage complex due diligence processes and coordinate associates and paralegals on deal execution.
• Advising clients on corporate governance, structuring, and strategic legal matters.
• Interface with clients, investment bankers, and other advisors to ensure smooth transaction execution.

Who You Are

• 4–6 years of corporate/M&A transactional experience at a law firm.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage deal teams and coordinate complex transactions.
• Member of a U.S. Bar in good standing, with excellent academic credentials.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $250,000–$280,000 (DOE)
