Corporate Associate – Chicago, New York, Dallas, and Washington D.C.

About the Role

Thompson Coburn is seeking an associate with 3+ years of experience to join its Corporate and Securities practice. The ideal candidate will advise buyers, sellers, private equity firms, and investors on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, securities transactions, and other complex corporate matters.

Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents
• Manage deal processes
• Advise on corporate governance
• Counsel clients on securities law and regulatory compliance

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in corporate and securities law
• Currently licensed to practice law in the state of the office location
• Self-starter comfortable with client interaction
• Seeking career development and advancement opportunities

Pay

The salary range for this position in Chicago, New York, Dallas, and Washington D.C. offices is $215,000–$290,000. Actual salary will vary and may be above or below the range based on relevant skills, training, and other job-related factors.
