About the role

The Corporate Affairs Specialist supports the O-I Glass Corporate Affairs team, focusing on government relations, communications, and digital platform management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support to Corporate Affairs workstreams, including documentation and reporting; materials and content drafting, editing, and reviews; vendor coordination; tracking, documentation reporting on program metrics to support data-driven decision-making; and ad hoc support for senior leaders.
  • Develop and maintain one-pagers, issue briefs, policy position materials, and internal communications to drive alignment and action.
  • Support internal stakeholder coordination on policy-related topics, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timely execution.
  • Career development and maintenance of one-pagers, issue briefs, policy position materials, and internal communications to drive alignment and action.
  • Coordinate engagement with trade associations and third-party partners.
  • Produce meeting summaries, action items, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain internal calendars for trade association activity and meetings.
  • Maintain clear documentation of government relations strategies, plans, and activities.
  • Otherwise support global and regional government relations initiatives.
  • Write, edit, and review messaging, talking points, statements and content for internal and external stakeholders and channels.
  • Maintain editorial and content calendars.
  • Manage internal video shoots and production logistics.
  • Conduct social monitoring to identify and escalate potential reputational risks.
  • Execute content audits as assigned to ensure content remains fresh, relevant, and aligned with SEO/AEO standards.
  • Support internal digital platform management.
