Corporate Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant to support financial operations and reporting across our growing behavioral health organization. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is looking to grow their accounting experience in a dynamic, multi-entity environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Aid in the preparation of monthly financial statements and account reconciliations
• Reconcile bank statements and subsidiary ledgers
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Maintain budget monitoring and track income and expenditures
• Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies
• Aid in payroll support and employee expense tracking
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Support tax filings and other financial obligations as needed
• Maintain and improve accounting systems and recordkeeping

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Basic understanding of GAAP
• Experience with accounting software and data entry
• Strong Excel skills (formulas, spreadsheets, data analysis)
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Effective communication and organizational skills
