Core Technician, Full-Time 10am-630pm, Voorhees

Summary

Supports healthcare team by coordinating supplies and equipment for surgery, transporting specimens, and assisting in patient transfer to stretcher under nursing supervision.

Position Responsibilities

• Coordination of supplies and equipment for scheduled surgery. • Restocking and maintaining room par levels. • Transport of fresh and frozen section specimens, checking specimen log for transport. • Assisting RN in daily activities.

Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required

Prior Experience or CSS training. Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control standards. Hospital practice, procedure and policies. Core technologist competency.

Required Education

High School or Graduate Equivalent Diploma.

Training/Certifications/Licensure

CPR (BLS).

Pay

Hourly Rate: $19.54 - $29.20
