Maintenance Technician Full-Time 10a-6pm

About the role

The Community at Rockhill is a residential community for adults 65 and older located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It offers a continuum of care including Residential Living, Personal Care, and Health Care. The position is part of a Life Plan Community where residents can live according to their own choices, ranging from active and engaged to peaceful and private.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on equipment throughout the facility, such as filter changes, equipment lubrications, vehicle maintenance, etc.
• Complete all necessary paperwork (daily work sheets and work orders) on a daily basis.
• Maintain on-call responsibilities on weekends, holidays, and inclement weather as required.
• Perform overtime duties when requested or needed in an emergency.
• Maintain the high standards of The Community at Rockhill by picking up trash, ensuring lights are functioning, keeping vehicles clean, responding to alarms, assisting with fire and emergency evacuation drills, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various equipment, performing routine duties, properly maintaining and storing tools and equipment, and keeping the work shop clean and orderly.
• Follow all department policies and procedures, including proper use of all PPE issued and attend all departmental meetings and required facility in-services.
• Assume other miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as directed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Experience in maintenance or related field preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and inclement weather.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
