The San Juan Unified School District is seeking a full-time teacher for the 2026-27 school year at Arcade Middle School.
About the role

Responsibilities
- Teach core subjects to students in grades 6-8
- Implement curriculum aligned with state standards
- Assess student progress and provide feedback

Requirements
- Valid California teaching credential
- Experience teaching middle school students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $126,000 annually. Candidates must be internal employees to be placed on Column 5; for external candidates, Column 4 is the maximum incoming placement.
Schedule
The length of the work year is 10 months/year, 186 days/year, 5 days/week, with a professional work day. The length of the work day is 6 hours.
