Responsibilities

• Play a vital role in supporting patient care by performing accurate and timely laboratory testing used in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.
• Testing domains include waived, moderate, and high-complexity procedures.

Requirements

• Blood Bank experience with waived, moderate, and high-complexity testing in a clinical laboratory setting—through education or hands-on work experience.

Qualifications

• Education (Required): Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science Program, Medical Technologist, Medical Technician, Biology, Chemistry.
• Preferred: ASCP-certified Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or equivalent, other acceptable certifications: ASCP or HEW.
