Core Consulting - Head of Operations

Responsibilities

• Operational Ownership and Founder Extraction
• Serve as the final quality checkpoint on client deliverables
• Evaluate and restructure the existing team
• Build and manage the external specialist network
• Train, coach, and hold the team accountable to clear performance metrics
• Configure and drive company-wide adoption of Kantata
• Track team capacity, utilization, and margins
• Translate operational data into visual executive dashboards

Requirements

• Proven track record as a Director of Operations, Head of Operations, or COO
• Direct, hands-on experience in grant or contract writing
• Experience sourcing, vetting, and managing a bench of external contractors
• Experience configuring, implementing, and driving team-wide adoption of enterprise project management tools
• Core Competencies: Operational patience, team leadership, systems architecture, simplification, data-driven decision making, disciplined execution
• Critical Soft Skills: Instructional patience, willingness to hold firm on accountability, steady leadership, candid communication

Benefits

• Base salary of $100,000 to $120,000, with performance-based compensation up to $160,000
• PTO of 3 weeks per year + 40 hours of paid sick time
