Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers (LBS1) for elementary school opportunities in Burbank, Illinois. We currently have three openings supporting students in Kindergarten and 1st Grade instructional classrooms. Position Details
- Location: Burbank, IL
- Pay Rate: $50.00 per hour
- Start Date: August 17, 2026
- Duration: 39-Week School Year Contract
- Schedule: 35 Hours Per Week
- Openings: 3
- Grade Levels: Kindergarten & 1st Grade
- Interview Format: Virtual or In-Person
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction to students receiving special education services
- Implement IEP goals and accommodations
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment
- Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
- Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
Qualifications
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- LBS1 Endorsement Required
- Previous Special Education experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for helping elementary students succeed
