About the role

The Coordinator/Assistant – Talent Network will provide administrative support to the Firm’s Career and Alumni Services department, reporting to the Director, Head of Talent Network and supporting the Director, Associate Director, and Career Advisor.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for a high-volume career counseling office, including tracking confidential documents and workflows.
  • Maintain and update a database of job opportunities for associates and alumni.
  • Maintain, update, and refine alumni records and data, including client relationship management tools, in collaboration with other Firm departments and via independent research.
  • Conduct regular reporting on relevant data sets from multiple sources using Excel and other reporting tools.
  • Maintain and update the department’s SharePoint site.
  • Manage administration of the Firm’s alumni website, including content management, data analytics, and user support.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of content related to career and alumni services on the Firm’s website, intranet, and printed materials.
  • Assist with planning and execution of alumni events, including preparation of invitation lists.
  • Track and report on program metrics for the Talent Network.
  • Collaborate with Legal Recruiting, Professional Development, Legal Personnel, Business Development, Communications, Special Events, and Information Services departments.
  • Comply with the firm’s information security policies and protect firm assets from unauthorized access or disclosure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Prior work or internship experience in alumni relations, talent acquisition, or career services is highly desired.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and online information resources; advanced Excel (formulas, filters, pivot tables) is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with content management systems and/or customer relationship management systems is a plus.
  • Excellent writing, analytical, organizational, research, and interpersonal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and handle time-sensitive requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
  • A professional manner effective with the Firm’s lawyers and staff.
  • Commitment to the highest standards of excellence and professionalism.

Pay

The base salary range for this role is $75,000 to $85,000. Compensation is determined based on skill set, experience level, performance, certifications, degrees, location, and the Firm’s needs. The total compensation package may include overtime pay, discretionary bonuses, and other benefits.
