About the Role

This is a local supply chain position responsible for the specific hospital supply chain operation at Shriners Spokane. The role reports to the Regional Supply Chain Director.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the operation of the hospital’s Supply Chain Management Department, considering all patient age groups.
• Develop and implement departmental policies/procedures that guide and support the provision of purchasing services in conjunction with corporate directives.
• Assist with the authorization and execution of purchase orders for equipment, services, and supplies for the hospital.
• Support, advise, and assist department managers within the hospital with supply chain needs.
• Plan and organize all capital requisitions from planning to purchase.
• Serve as backup to the Regional Director of Supply Chain.
• Manage local hospital recalls.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 5 years of purchasing/procurement experience in a hospital environment, including supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business.
• Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP).
• Knowledge/experience with medical supplies, inventory control, and purchasing procedures.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $29.79–$44.69 per hour. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
