Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with licensees on timely submission of quarterly reports
  • Track licensee compliance status
  • Review licensee compliance and follow-up on delinquent reports and missing information
  • Collect, review, and analyze revenue reports to calculate royalty obligations
  • Interpret and apply contractual terms to royalty calculations
  • Monitor compliance with royalty agreements and escalate discrepancies
  • Maintain royalty and compliance databases and documentation
  • Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and external partners regarding revenue tracking and royalty issues
  • Support internal audits and respond to external audit requests
  • Assist in improving royalty processing workflows and compliance procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in royalty accounting, compliance, or revenue management (common in industries such as entertainment, publishing, technology licensing, and natural resources)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with royalty contract structures and revenue-sharing models
  • Proficient in Excel (V-lookup, X-lookup, etc.) and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or royalty management tools)
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
