Expected pay range: $23/hr–$25/hr (non-exempt). This role may qualify for supplemental compensation in the form of bonus and incentive programs, contingent upon achieving pre-established individual and company performance metrics. Benefits eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute the Positive Hold and Release program to ensure ingredients and finished products meet established food safety and quality standards.
  • Coordinate analytical testing of raw materials and finished products for chemical, physical, and microbiological properties.
  • Maintain testing schedules, monitor laboratory lead times, and track the progress of internal and external analyses.
  • Review and interpret analytical test results against product specifications and quality requirements.
  • Communicate testing results, product disposition decisions, and compliance-related information across departments.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding testing status, quality documentation, and analysis timelines.

Requirements

  • A minimum of one year of applicable quality, compliance, laboratory, or food manufacturing experience.
  • Experience within agriculture, food manufacturing, dietary supplements, quality assurance, or related industries preferred.
  • Strong analytical thinking, critical problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and software.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Ability to perform general office-based work, including extended computer use and document review.
  • Ability to lift and transport samples, files, and materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Work is primarily performed in an office environment with flexibility to work remotely as business needs allow.
