About the role

The Coordinator of Product Development supports the development process, encompassing sample management activities, achieving design aesthetic, quality standards, margin goals and timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Support product development activities including the review of prototypes and samples, milestone adherence, sending of development packages to overseas partners.
  • Partner with Materials teams to procure sampling materials for all development milestones.
  • Execute, maintain and update necessary data and tools.
  • Manage day-to-day communication and activities with the Asia PD team.
  • Supports approval process and resolution of pending items to ensure smooth process from development to commercialization.
  • Execute day-to-day activities based on priorities set by Manager and drives task completion and issue resolution.
  • Organize and maintain sample arrival and archiving.
  • Support in research and development.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft 360, ECV or other PLM systems.
  • Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
  • An outstanding professional with 1+ years of relevant experience in product development, including the categories of handbags and SLGs; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • A strong sense of teamwork and ability to multi-task.
  • Flexibility to adapt as the business requires and to perform efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.
  • Experience working in a global company with overseas partners.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications particularly Excel, TEAMS, illustrator.
