This role supports the Regional Indirect Procurement Point of Sale Materials (POSM) team by ensuring high-quality procurement data collection, maintenance, and analysis across sourcing and purchasing activities. The Procurement Coordinator is primarily responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of procurement data within enterprise systems and reporting tools, supporting sourcing initiatives, supplier management activities, and processing documentation.
Responsibilities
- New item creation, maintenance, and classification in SAP.
- Establish a data collection process with suppliers for Sustainability information, material data, dimensions, weights, etc.
- Collect, validate, and maintain procurement data across systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Serve as a key point of control for procurement data integrity within SAP and related procurement tools.
- Create, collaborate, and close all POSM Purchase Orders (POs).
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Develop and maintain monthly reports and trackers to support business visibility, compliance, and data integrity.
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies, working with stakeholders to correct and improve data quality.
- Provide ad-hoc project support and team initiatives.
- Work cross-functionally (Brand, Transportation, Operations, Finance, Legal).
- Collaborate with suppliers for data collection and PO communications.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in a Purchasing department or experience using a PO system preferred.
- Experience with data validation, reporting, or master data management strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of data accuracy and integrity.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to validate, interpret, and reconcile data sets.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis functions).
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across multiple stakeholders.
- Decision-Making/Judgment, Negotiation, Teamwork & Cooperation, Mathematical, and Problem-Solving skills.
- Working knowledge of procurement management.
- Basic understanding of supplier management concepts.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university preferred or relevant experience.

Pay
The hourly rate for this position is $33.23 - $45.69, based on several factors including knowledge, education, skills, and experience. In addition to base pay, we may offer a discretionary annual bonus and a full range of benefits.
Schedule
This position is based in New York and follows a hybrid work model.
