About The Role As a Coordinator, Physical Security you will work within a group that provides asset protection and physical security design engineering to protect nuclear facilities and material against sabotage, theft, diversion, and other malicious acts. The position provides broad-ranging experience of operating and advanced nuclear plant designs including interfaces with systems, equipment, structures, and physical plant arrangement to develop and implement the safeguards and physical security protection system designs. You will report to the Structural Steel Senior Manager, Building Engineering & Physical Design and be located at our Cranberry Township, PA facility. The position is hybrid; you will be on site two days per week. Key Responsibilities Work on teams related to design, fabrication, construction, and maintenance of large-scale nuclear and non-nuclear projects with respect to physical securityPerform physical security assessments of the physical plant arrangementPerform evaluations including critical asset development, threat and vulnerability assessments, physical security system computer and electrical designRead and interpret engineering drawings and criteria documentsHelp prepare specifications and reports to satisfy applicable regulatory, code, and contract requirementsProvide engineering support to multiple global organizations regarding asset protection and physical security assessments Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a Physical Security related degree or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical EngineeringPrior Internship experience or EIT/FE Certification beneficial We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
