Coordinator, Partnerships
About the role
The Partnerships Coordinator supports the development and management of relationships with universities, licensees, and retailers to drive the success of collegiate licensing initiatives. Working closely with the Partner Services Manager and cross-functional teams, this role assists in executing strategic business plans, marketing campaigns, and compliance programs tailored to each client’s needs. The Partnerships Coordinator serves as a key liaison, communicating industry trends, licensing updates, and program information while representing the company professionally.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, licensees, and retailers within the assigned conference or region.
- Support the Partner Services Manager and university partners in developing, executing, and achieving goals and objectives tailored to each client’s needs.
- Communicate key licensing initiatives, industry trends, system updates, and program information to university partners clearly and effectively.
- Aid in the development and execution of strategic business plans aimed at expanding revenue opportunities.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns and retail promotions for licensed products.
- Aid in managing trademark enforcement efforts and ensuring contract compliance across university partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional CLC team members in coordinating account management activities.
- Prepare, present, and deliver reports, presentations, and other materials on licensing-related topics to university partners and internal stakeholders.
- Represent CLC professionally at all times.
- Travel up to 20% as needed to support partners, meetings, and events.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience presenting to large groups, executives, or senior administrators preferred.
- Demonstrated attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work occasional nights and weekends as required.
- Interest or passion for college sports preferred.
