About the role
This is an unpaid volunteer role (a few hours per week) with the Rachel Corrie Foundation for Peace and Justice, a grassroots human-rights nonprofit in Olympia, WA. Mostly remote, with occasional in-person events in Olympia.
Responsibilities
- Respond to people who want to help
- MATCH them to the right roles (graphic design, video, photography, music, events, teach-ins)
- KEEP a simple roster
- CHECK IN with active volunteers so no one drifts away
Requirements
- You report to our Admin Manager and coordinate day-to-day volunteer activity
- A good fit if you are organized, reliable, and like staying in touch with people
Qualifications
- VOLunteer coordination, HR, teaching, or organizing experience helps but is not required
