Contingent Upon Funding: Contingent upon funding Standard Work Schedule: Shift: Other Shift If Not a Standard Work Schedule: Morning, Nights, Weekends, Holidays, Job Duties and Responsibilities: The Coordinator of Premium Seating and Athletic Events is responsible for driving significant revenue growth through the strategic sale of premium seating and special events for New Mexico State Athletics. This position will oversee the sale and service of all New Mexico State Athletics premium seating through the proactive identification, cultivation, and solicitation of prospects while delivering a best-in-class experience throughout the sales process. This role will serve as a key contributor to premium and athletic event revenue strategy to support the long-term financial success of New Mexico State Athletics. Additionally, this position is responsible for all aspects of event logistics, vendor management, planning, coordinating, and executing all athletics fundraising and donor engagement events in support of NM State Athletics’ fundraising and stewardship goals. The position manages all aspects of event logistics, including venue coordination, vendor management, invitations, programming, catering, staffing, as well as event setup and teardown, while also overseeing premium hospitality operations at athletic events and ensuring high-quality donor experiences. Job Duties And Responsibilities: The Coordinator of Premium Seating and Athletic Events is responsible for driving significant revenue growth through the strategic sale of premium seating for New Mexico State Athletics. Premium seating includes but is not limited to: Aggie Memorial Stadium premium suites and club seating, Pan American Center courtside seating, premium suite and club seating. Responsibilities Generates premium seating revenue through proactive prospecting, relationship building, and strategic outbound sales efforts. Oversees the full sales lifecycle from lead generation through contract execution, including presentations, venue tours, and personalized proposals. Develops and maintains a robust pipeline of qualified prospects while consistently meeting or exceeding established revenue goals. Cultivates relationships with high-capacity donors, alumni, corporate partners, and community leaders. Maintains detailed and accurate records. Assists with premium hospitality and game day engagement efforts to strengthen client relationships. Responsibilities Planning and execution of “Aggies In Paradise” Dinner and Auction Planning and execution of “Inside The Locker Room” Dinner and Auction Planning and execution of two annual “Aggie Open” golf tournaments Responsible for all aspects for fundraising event logistics. Qualifications Required Education and Experience: Associate's Degree + 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree. Equivalent Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: Special Certification/Licensure: Working Conditions and Physical Effort Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. Physical Effort: No or very limited physical effort required. Lifting Requirements: Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day. Risk: No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
