About the Role
Develop and coordinate professional and short-term career training programs in collaboration with other division coordinators, credit divisions, and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop professional and short-term career training options.
- Research and provide input on new training programs and services to serve customers.
- Maintain contact with customers, training partners, and advisory groups to ensure training needs are met and verify marketing strategies are effective.
- In consultation with supervisor, create program budget and establish revenue targets for program.
- Plan and coordinate details of each seminar and training program, including:
- Recruit, recommend, orient, and evaluate instructors.
- Coordinate with MCC personnel for room scheduling.
- Arrange for room set-up.
- Prepare class materials.
- Notify all necessary personnel and students of cancellation.
- Provide for needed instructional support.
- Implement procedures to maintain quality of programs.
- Implement evaluation process to ensure program quality.
- Monitor enrollment and class cancellations.
- Verify and distribute certificates of completion.
- Complete appropriate documentation for professional education classes.
- Analyze program performance data.
- Communicate with instructors regarding class assignments, student issues, and other issues that arise.
- Develop schedule of course offerings.
- Coordinate marketing efforts in collaboration with OMPR.
- Communicate and collaborate with other MCC programs to meet customer needs.
- Coordinate clinical experience and certification exams as needed.
- Assist with securing and maintaining contracts with clinical sites and third-party vendors.
- Assist with securing necessary insurance documents.
- Work collaboratively with others (e.g., colleagues, stakeholders, vendors) to accomplish functions and responsibilities.
- Assume additional duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
- Two years of related experience.
- Experience in program development and coordination.
- Experience dealing with the public.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work from a general outline of duties and responsibilities.
- Ability to perform basic data analysis and synthesis, report creation, process performance, and regulatory or compliance activities.
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently within a team concept.
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships.
- Ability to safely lift 25 pounds unassisted.
