Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED preferred.
- Prior experience maintaining lines on sports fields preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical information.
- Self-directed/motivated.
- Physical ability to lift, stand, climb stairs and ladders, pull, push and bend for extended periods.
- Valid Maine driver's license.
- Complete the Ocupational Physical Health Exam as required by RSU9.
- Ability to work safely with chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to work cooperatively with other employees.
Job Goal(s)
Participate in the care and upkeep of all RSU 9 competition and practice fields, cross country course, and other tasks related to preparing for official game day under the direction of the Athletic Director.
Performance Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain field lines for practice and game athletic fields in compliance with MPA rules and regulations.
- Coordinate with AD and assist with necessary equipment set up for home sporting events.
- Perform general mowing and tree cutting maintenance on cross country course.
- Work safely with power equipment including liing machine, lawn mower and hand tools.
- Maintain field lining machine as needed.
- Perform additional duties as directed by the Director of Athletics.
Education
High School Graduate or GED
Working Schedule
Flexible hours dependent upon atheltic game schedule, practice schedule and weather.
Travel Requirements
Travel between schools or district buildings.

Director of Athletics

As determined annually by the District.

Completed annually by Director of Athletics
