About the role

Are you passionate about college athletics and communications? Penn College is looking for a Coordinator of Athletic Communications (211-Day) to join our team in Williamsport, PA. In this role, you’ll support the promotion and visibility of Penn College Athletics through engaging content, storytelling and communications. Working alongside the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications, you’ll help showcase our student-athletes, teams and programs while putting your creativity, writing and communication skills to work in a fast-paced collegiate athletics environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Recreational Education, Health, Sports Administration, Communication, Journalism, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in an NCAA athletic/recreational program with a background in sports information or journalism
• Strong writing, editing, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple sports, projects, deadlines, and responsibilities
• Experience with website content management systems and social media platforms
• Creative, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Valid driver’s license

Pay

Salary: $43,000–$48,000, based on minimum education and experience qualifications
