Coordinator, ITSP Membership Growth
GTIA – Global Technology Industry Association is the only vendor-neutral, non-profit membership community connecting and representing the worldwide IT channel. The association equips members for success through trusted resources, industry insights, and networking opportunities. GTIA sets standards that help organizations build sustainable, secure, and profitable businesses in a rapidly changing technology landscape. The association donates tens of millions of dollars annually to tech-focused charitable organizations. Internationally, GTIA represents tens of thousands of professionals from over 2,000 MSPs, solution providers, vendors, distributors, and other IT channel organizations.
About the role
The Coordinator, ITSP Membership Growth is an outbound, growth-focused role responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new IT Solution Provider (ITSP) memberships for GTIA. This position actively recruits new members at industry and partner events while representing GTIA at conferences and community gatherings. Ideal for a motivated sales professional with a passion for the IT channel and a track record of closing new business.
Responsibilities
- A hunter mentality is required. This is a growth-focused, outbound role; the Coordinator, ITSP Membership Growth is expected to proactively identify, pursue, and close new IT Solution Provider memberships with urgency and persistence
- Drive new member growth by consistently executing targeted call and email outreach, meeting monthly activity benchmarks and achieving defined new member acquisition goals for IT Service Provider membership
- Diligently create and pursue sales leads, including leveraging other GTIA Community support resources as required
- Understand and communicate GTIA’s value proposition to key members and prospects, closing new company memberships
- Identify and define member business needs, determine appropriate GTIA solutions, and develop proposals for review and engagement
- Successfully and professionally deliver presentations to key prospects through face-to-face meetings and virtual platforms
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to maintaining clean, accurate data
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of GTIA’s products and service offerings, industry trends, and technical developments that affect target markets
- Represent the GTIA Community at qualified industry meetings/events to promote GTIA services
- Conduct consistent daily outreach and follow-up with prospective members
Key Performance Metrics
- Consistent quarter-over-quarter increase in net new IT Solution Provider memberships
- Demonstrated improvement in converting prospective ITSPs from initial outreach to signed membership
- Meets daily/weekly KPIs across outreach channels, including calls and emails
Requirements
- Strong cold calling, outbound sequencing, and pipeline generation skills with high activity levels
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required
- HubSpot or other CRM-related experience preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Teams and Zoom (meeting and webinar formats)
- Superior interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Superior customer/member service ethic
- Outstanding level of attention to detail and quality
- Proven ability to work directly with C-level member contacts
- Proactive, intellectually curious, and a self-driven learner
- Ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams
- Organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks, ensuring deadlines are met
- Travel as required (approx. 30%), including occasions outside of normal working hours, e.g., networking opportunities that take place in the evenings
Qualifications
- Degree preferred but not required for the role
- Experience in a related field
- Experience in IT channel sales, working with IT Solution Providers (ITSPs/MSPs), a plus
