Responsibilities
- Scheduling, inventory/materials management, fleet maintenance, field training and onboarding, uniforms, safety, and technician interface for general administrative support regarding construction projects.
- Establishes rapport with Project Managers and Technicians to ensure efficient communication, proper resource allocation, and successful project execution.
- Manages Installation technician schedule under direction of Project Managers, including updating Weekly Manpower Forecasting spreadsheet, verifying timecards, arranging Per Diem distribution, and completing the Weekly Scheduling sheet.
- Optimizes return of excess materials, including tracking and managing cylinder returns, reconciling truck stock, and managing material returns process by verifying credit through local vendors.
- Provides new technician On-Boarding, tracks Safety Training progress of each team member, and ensures Company provided PPE is up to standard.
- Maintains GPS compliance on Company vehicles, ensures vehicle transfers are performed, and proper vehicle maintenance is scheduled and completed within a timely fashion.
- Ensures job sites have the needed supplies in a timely and cost-effective manner by supporting Project Coordinators with purchase requisitions, delivery and pick-up of materials, parts and equipment, etc.
- Processes all materials transfers from/to inventory in shop/van, prices out service work orders and transfers from supplies to construction and service jobs.
- Processes all paperwork necessary for business operations, such as obtaining permits and submittals as required by location and jurisdiction.
- Performs work with awareness of process improvement and notifies Operations Leaders of any potential or existing issues.
- Manages and updates Standard Operating Procedures relating to Installation.
- Embolies the CoolSys CARES culture (Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, Empowerment, Safety).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2-3 years’ experience in a comparable position.
- Excellent customer service skills with both internal and external customers.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient typing skills to properly document dictation to update systems.
- Ability to understand and follow all company policies and procedures and all applicable State and Federal laws.
- Ability to use typical business tools including E-Mail, Word, Excel, etc.
