Job Summary
The Coordinator, Human Resources is responsible for offering active support to the Human Resources team. They will assist in handling the team’s daily activities, such as by providing clerical support. They will act as a liaison with colleagues, sharing important information, answering questions, addressing concerns, and providing tools required to perform their respective jobs efficiently, effectively, and comfortably.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Supports the efficient and effective operation of the Human Resources Department, ensuring that all policies and procedures outlined are strictly adhered to
- Assists colleagues whenever possible with requests and/or information, such as addressing questions and/or concerns
- Assists with onboarding processes, including background checks, talent assessments, and new hire paperwork (Form I-9, Form W-4, etc.)
- Assists with offboarding processes
- Maintains accurate, up-to-date HR files, records, and documentation
- Handles employment related inquiries from applicants, colleagues, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate leadership
- Assists with colleague recognition processes, including the planning and execution of colleague relations events
- Compiles reports and prepares spreadsheets when requested
- Assists with recruitment programs when needed
- Supports the Housing team when needed
- Maintains the upkeep of heart-of-house areas
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the Manager, Human Resources or other members of the Management team
Skills, Experience, & Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- Prior HR experience is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other computer programs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
- Ability to act with integrity and confidentiality
- Ability to perform efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and bending in an operational environment for extended periods
- Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, and pulling
- Lifting and carrying of loads weighing up to 30 pounds
- Remaining in a stationary position for long periods
- Constantly operating a computer and other office productivity machinery
- Working in outdoor environments, including high altitudes, that may present extreme weather conditions such as snow, ice, rain, heat, wind, etc.
