Job Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator at Ezee Fiber aids and facilitates human resource processes at all business locations. This role administers employee health and welfare plans, acts as a liaison between employees and insurance providers, and resolves benefits-related problems. The coordinator ensures that plans are administered in compliance with federal and state regulations and follows plan provisions. They also provide administrative support to the human resource function, including record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry.

Essential Functions

  • Aid with general HR tasks such as maintaining employee records, tracking attendance, and preparing HR-related reports.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Provide HR guidance on policies, benefits, and inquiries to all departments.
  • Administer employee benefits and wellness programs.
  • Process terminations in the HRIS system, ensuring accurate and timely updates to employee records.
  • Assist with the performance review process.
  • Manage the planning and execution of employee engagement programs, team-building activities, and company events.
  • Support communications related to engagement initiatives, ensuring employees are informed and excited about upcoming events.
  • Manage the Human Resources calendar.
  • Aid the Talent Acquisition team by assisting with new hire orientation.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • An associate or bachelor’s degree in business management, facilities management, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of two (2) years in a related HR administrative role.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills: Efficiently managing multiple tasks and maintaining accurate records.
  • Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy in all administrative tasks.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and other HR software.
  • Knowledge of employment laws: Understanding relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with employees and managers.
  • Proven ability to work under minimal supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.
  • Ability and desire to work with new and changing technologies and processes.
  • Proven ability to manage and complete projects simultaneously and under deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
  • Problem-solving abilities: Identifying and resolving HR-related issues.
  • Knowledge and experience using Paylocity HRIS and ICIMS ATS preferred.
  • Experience working in telecommunications preferred.
