Job Summary and Qualifications
Baccalaureate Degree in Construction or Engineering related field preferred. Must have at least three (3) years experience in project or construction management and/or worked in an acute care hospital with experience of hospital regulatory compliance. Must have a current Texas DL. Must be familiar with building maintenance and construction techniques, equipment and operation of various systems including plumbing, HVAC, electric and structural. Must be familiar with applicable codes: federal, state, city, NFPA and TJC regulations relating to healthcare facilities.
Requires frequent walking from department to department. Requires sitting at a work-station or desk. Work may include occasional pushing and/or pulling, lifting and carrying objects weighing 20 lb.
