Coordinator Emergency Transport - LifeFlight Dispatch

Essential Responsibilities

• Captures flight requests and critical care ground transports.
• Provides flight following for aviation vendors.
• Enters data for all activities performed within the communication center.
• Registers for LifeFlight transports and places charges in EPIC for flights and ground transports.
• Completes all appropriate documentation for patient care records in EMS charts.
• Supports One-Call by coordinating and dispatching specialty teams within WPAHS facilities.
• Monitors all incoming traffic to the heliport and performs safety watch duties.
• Handles EMS medical command notifications and requests by phone and radio.
• Assists with offloading patients for the flight team.

Qualifications

• GED or High School diploma.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience.
• Prior EMT experience with dispatching skills preferred.
