About the role

The Center for Reproductive Rights is a global human rights organization working to ensure that reproductive rights are protected in law as fundamental human rights worldwide. The Coordinator, Communications Operations will support the function of a successful communications team by coordinating the department's budget administration, supporting departmental budget processes, and providing high-level administrative support to the CCMO.

Responsibilities

  • Support the department budget processes by processing invoices, tracking expenses, and keeping the department folders related to budget and finance organized and updated on SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
  • Support the procurement and contracting process for the department’s external vendors, licensing, and consultants from drafting through execution.
  • Support department operations processes by optimizing information flow across teams for shared projects, ensuring proper file organization, and maintaining SharePoint, project management tracking tools.
  • Act as a point of contact for administrative and technical inquiries related to files, trainings, scheduling, and directing team members to the appropriate resources.
  • Work with the Senior Manager, Communications Operations and key teams to plan and execute projects, including tracking timelines, coordinating with stakeholders, logistics, and ensuring successful completion of deliverables.
  • Collaborate effectively as a positive liaison across the organization, working closely with key departments to enhance cross-departmental systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Strong commitment to the Center’s mission, purpose, and values.
  • University Degree (baccalaureate or higher) in communications or related field.
  • 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Familiarity with Concur, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Monday.com preferred.
  • A self-starter with superior organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing work demands.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay

The annual salary for the position is $73,440, subject to a downward locality adjustment if authorization is granted to work outside the location listed in this posting.

Schedule

The position will be based in the Center’s New York City office in a hybrid model of 3 days in-office, 2 days working from home.
