Coordinator/Admissions & Recruitment
Position Details
This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating recruitment strategies within a specific territory and/or target population to assist the College in meeting its overall enrollment goals. This position is responsible for coordinating and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders to assist prospective students through the enrollment process.
- Work in collaboration with high school, career and technology center personnel, and/or other community partners to identify, recruit, and enroll traditional students as well as adult learners.
- Provide prospective students with knowledge of career pathways and the aligning academic programs offered by the College.
- Case manage prospective students using manual and electronic tracking mechanisms, within specific territories or target populations, through enrollment by coordinating services with pathway/faculty advisors and/or other College resources.
- Set and measure key performance indicators based upon previous enrollment data for their respective territory.
- Represent the College both on-campus and off-campus to prospective students, parents, high school counselors, companies, organizations, and/or community liaisons.
- Assist with formal agreements between high schools and the College.
- Assist students with information about credits transferred to the College from previously attended accredited institutions.
- Manage strategic communication in close partnership and alignment with the Communications Team.
- Work with prospective students on the academic opportunities and enrollment process at the College. Admissions counseling can occur one-on-one, via phone, chat, email, or other methods of communication.
- Establish, monitor and utilize data to assist in territory management.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a related field required.
- 1-3 years of related experience is required.
- Public speaking experience is required.
- Experience with individual and small group communications is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Prior College admissions experience is preferred.
- Related work experience in higher education is preferred.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged sitting.
- Frequent standing/walking or otherwise moving around campus.
- Repetitive finger/hand movements.
- Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Occasional bending.
Salary
$51,315 (minimum)
Schedule Days/Hours
Monday - 8am to 5pm, Tuesday - 8am to 5pm, Wednesday - 8am to 5pm, Thursday - 8am to 5pm, Friday - 8am to 5pm
