Coordination Program Manager, Data Center Controls
About the role
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. As a Coordination Program Manager on the Controls Coordination team, you will facilitate the purchase of goods and services for the AMER Data Center Capacity and Delivery (DCCD) Controls Engineering team. You will work through the full life cycle of controls projects, collaborating with Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and Legal to deploy, maintain, and improve building automation in AWS data centers.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, comfortable with ambiguity and competing priorities, and have a basic understanding of data center, construction, and building automation concepts. You will apply program coordination tools and methodologies to support quick and efficient purchasing across all Controls disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Writing and managing Capital Acquisition Requests (CARs)
- Compiling and submitting Work Order (WO) and Change Order (CO) requests
- Submitting Purchase Requests (PRs)
- Managing Purchase Orders (POs) and invoicing
- Managing monthly product and service accruals
- Maintaining and tracking the status of contracts, budgets, and spend
- Managing monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasting
- Implementing and maintaining coordination- and finance-related reports and dashboards
- Writing and maintaining team documentation and training
- Managing non-technical projects

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to interpret contract terms, conditions, and exhibits as applicable to project requirements
Pay
USA, VA, Herndon - $55,600.00 - $97,400.00 USD annually
