Cooperstown - Facilities Maintenance Technician Full Time, Year Round

This is a full time, year round employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Aid the Facilities Manager with daily maintenance tasks around the complex.
• Maintain facility assets, including buildings and equipment.
• Perform general maintenance tasks on a daily basis.
• Operate machinery like RTV’s and forklifts safely.
• Work on general plumbing, electrical, and mechanical items (toilets, sinks, electrical outlets and fixtures).
• Show small general carpentry experience.
• Follow instructions given by any full-time staff member.
• Learn and be responsible for new tasks as assigned.
• Be held accountable, follow through on commitments, produce timely work to required standards, and pitch in to complete tasks.
• Show pride of workmanship.
• Show strong communication skills and an excellent service attitude.
• Show outstanding customer service.
• Show reliable transportation.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Lift 50 lbs. or more.
• Exposure to inclement weather.
• Routine exposure to extreme heat/cold conditions.
