What Will I Do As A Delivery Driver?
- Deliver orders safely, accurately, and with a smile
- Ensure every order arrives warm, complete, and ready to impress
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and delivery technology while following safe driving practices
- Welcome guests in the bakery and provide friendly service between deliveries
- Assist with preparing, packaging, and organizing delivery and pickup orders
- Operate the register and process guest transactions
- Keep the bakery clean, organized, stocked, and food-safe
- Help create the kind of guest experience that keeps people coming back
Desired Skills/Experience
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of the 2-mile radius surrounding the store is a plus!
- Must have your own car, license, valid registration, and valid insurance
- Must be able to pass a motor vehicles background check
- Must have a smartphone with data plan
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Must be 18 years or older to be employed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets company requirements
- Current auto insurance that meets state minimum requirements
- Smartphone capable of running company delivery applications
- Availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Drive safely for extended periods throughout a shift
- Frequently enter and exit a vehicle
- Stand and walk for extended periods while working inside the bakery
- Lift, carry, and transport orders weighing up to 30 pounds
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Reach, bend, twist, kneel, and carry bakery products
- Communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and leadership
- Work in varying weather conditions while making deliveries
- Work around ovens, refrigeration equipment, and moderate bakery noise levels
Work Environment
- Inside the bakery, you'll work in a fast-paced environment with ovens, refrigeration equipment, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise levels.
- Outside the bakery, you'll drive in varying weather and traffic conditions while following all safety policies and traffic laws.
Schedule Expectations
- Our busiest times are evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Delivery Drivers should have availability during these peak business hours.
- Scheduling needs vary by location.
